Schmidt - Hey, I'M not the one trying to smuggle Lego sets into the house using my kid's stroller as the transportation device.... Hahaha! Ah, that made my day. I placed my first BL order in a couple months last week but it pales in comparison to the one's I am seeing on here ;only $20. Then I spent my Memorial Day weekend 'cleaning' which means getting a desk and storage units for my legos. And today I stopped by a local Lego resell store and spent $42 on minifig parts. I feel guilty about that last one until I remind myself what i got. 3 complete rohan soldiers with shields (These justified the purchase imo) 1 complete Boromir with shield 1 Boromir torsos+legs 2 Mirkwood torsos (the first rendition) 2 new elf shields Highlander shield CMF elf hair Moria Orc hair 3 Eomer helms 1 Rohan soldier helm 5 dk brown pants 10 assorted fleshy heads I didn't already have. Oh, and 2 Eomer pants.

Wow! They had all of that in the build a fig bin???
How close are you to the store? I would like to put in a request! Edit: ah - resell store, not official Lego store. Great finds, in any case

Mark of Falworth - That was the cheapest bulk domestic supplier that there was! I need them for torches Don't feel bad Jordan, we're all secretly super jealous of you in that we can't spend half our incomes on Bricklink too!

Mark of Falworth - Hey, when you are 30 years old with no kids, you'll hopefully have a little disposable income too. I admit, it is nice to be able to splurge every once in a while (this is the first time in a while that I've made multiple orders in a short time period). I'm pretty frugal with money elsewhere, so my wife lets me get away with it with only minimal eye-rolling.

Mark of Falworth - That was the cheapest bulk domestic supplier that there was! I need them for torches I much prefer using the "clubs" for torches vs. the TLG standard "telescope" version. You have to take a small (1/16") drill bit and make room for the little sprue, but there is so little plastic there, and the thing is hollow, that you can actually turn the bit using your fingers to make the hole. Almost like it was TLG's intent, but manufacturing didn't quite pull it off, or something. Yes I've always thought this was an oversight on TLGs part. In more connected news, ended up making another bricklink order after regretting not picking up a few particular pieces the first time (and the seller had refunded me fore a couple on nicks on the lego heads). I can quit anytime I want! Honest!...

I made another order yesterday too. Had to build some brick-built doors and the hinge spacing was such that I found myself in need of some 1x3 reddish brown tiles. As usual, it snowballed a little bit, but I kept it under $20, so that's progress, right?

A 20 dollar order is completely respectable IMO. Wait, did you say 1X3s! Awesome!

A 20 dollar order is completely respectable IMO. Unless it's $20 spent on brown carrots, right?? Yeah, I didn't think that a 1x1 with a 1x2 represented a "plank" for a door very well, so I thought I'd check to see if they came in 1x3, and sure enough, they do! They are a little pricier than some other colors, but not too bad if you only need a few. Here is the order: Rocks and cobbles for my castle that were cheap [New] Dark Bluish Gray Plate, Round 1 x 1 Straight Side (x18) ..... US $0.025 each = US $0.45 [New] Dark Bluish Gray Slope 45 2 x 2 Double Concave (x4) ..... US $0.055 each = US $0.22 [New] Dark Bluish Gray Slope, Inverted 45 2 x 1 (x20) ..... I envy you guys However I have had a $100+ dollar order bounceing around for the last month. However I have to pay for our Lug Bulk order first ( it is around $500 for both Jenn and I ) after that I should have my bricklink order placed. I cant wait to get my gold shutters and some other stuff to build my london esque 1880's 221b Baker st.

So I placed an order last night for just one thing; [New] Light Bluish Gray Minifig, Shield Triangular with Black and Silver Falcon Pattern (x20) ..... US $0.55 each = US $11.00.
I would have bought more but the store's inventory was abysmal. I only bought them anyway because they were so much cheaper than every other bulk supplier NOT in Germany (I really wish I lived in Germany) that I saved more than the cost of shipping.
EDIT - and then I needed slopes.
[New] Dark Bluish Gray Brick 1 x 2 x 5 (x6) ..... US $0.10 each = US $0.60
[New] Dark Bluish Gray Hips and Light Bluish Gray Legs with Armor Plates Pattern (x2) ..... US $0.90 each = US $1.80
[New] Dark Bluish Gray Slope 45 2 x 2 Double Convex (x6) ..... US $0.11 each = US $0.66
[New] Dark Bluish Gray Slope 45 2 x 3 (x3) ..... US $0.13 each = US $0.39
[New] Dark Bluish Gray Slope 45 3 x 4 Double / 33 (x1) ..... US $0.12 each = US $0.12
[New] Dark Bluish Gray Slope 65 2 x 2 x 2 with Bottom Tube (x9) ..... US $0.12 each = US $1.08
[New] Dark Bluish Gray Slope 75 2 x 1 x 3 - Hollow Stud (x10) ..... US $0.09 each = US $0.90
[New] Dark Bluish Gray Slope 75 2 x 2 x 3 - Solid Studs (x20) ..... US $0.16 each = US $3.20
[New] Dark Orange Plate 1 x 4 (x2) ..... US $0.60 each = US $1.20
[New] Flat Silver Chain, 5 Links (x10) ..... US $0.28 each = US $2.80
[New] Flat Silver Light Cover with Internal Bar / Bionicle Barraki Eye (x4) ..... US $0.08 each = US $0.32
[New] Flat Silver Slope, Curved 2 x 1 No Studs (x4) ..... US $0.14 each = US $0.56
[New] Flat Silver Tile, Round 1 x 1 (x32) ..... US $0.08 each = US $2.56
[New] Light Bluish Gray Bracket 2 x 2 - 2 x 2 with 2 Holes (x19) ..... US $0.06 each = US $1.14
[New] Light Bluish Gray Brick, Arch 1 x 6 x 2 - Thin Top without Reinforced Underside (x6) ..... US $0.09 each = US $0.54
[New] Light Bluish Gray Brick, Arch 1 x 8 x 2 (x5) ..... US $0.21 each = US $1.05
[New] Olive Green Plant Leaves 4 x 3 (x3) ..... US $0.19 each = US $0.57
[New] Pearl Gold Minifig, Shield Triangular Long with Black Outlines, Circle and Triangles Pattern (x4) ..... US $1.59 each = US $6.36
[New] Reddish Brown Boat, 14 x 5 x 2 with Oarlocks (x1) ..... US $0.80 each = US $0.80
[New] Reddish Brown Minifig, Weapon Whip Bent (x2) ..... US $0.26 each = US $0.52

I'm having a non-shipping buyer problem with my last order, posted above. Looks like they had several orders in a row that they marked as "shipped" and then didn't.
It looks like they are shut down now, and at least one review was marked "neutral" saying that they "made it right", so hopefully they will fix it soon.
