All changes/tweaks will be posted here as a quick reference while new developments are occurring. These will be integrated into the main info and rules posts once the list of changes is relatively complete.

Effective immediately, players may have one main character (required) and one secondary character (optional). BOTH CHARACTERS MUST BE IN THE SAME FACTION. Additionally, the rules for including your character(s) in your LoR builds are amended as-follows: Free Builds - No restrictions. No character must be involved and can be any location / subject material, as long as it is related to Lands of Roawia. Local Challenges - Will vary based on the challenge. Guild Builds - One character per guild (either primary or secondary) must be featured in all builds. If your primary character is the guild applicant, the guild builds must be centered on him, not the secondary character. Global Challenges - Will vary based on the challenge. All builds MUST contain a faction banner identifying which faction the builder belongs to, either in the model or added digitally. Digital banner generator can be found here: www.roawia.byethost7.com/#banners

A quick question about the new banner requirement:
I've been building mostly scene/storyboard type builds, so does that rule still apply? It could ruin the theatrical effect I'm aiming for to edit in a banner on top of it, and I may not be able to fit a faction standard in every build. Thoughts, AK?

The wa I read it is that you can still put in the standard lego built faction banner (or rather colors) into the build someplace so you do not have to edit the digital one into the picture.

I read it that way too, but I could think of some instances where it wouldn't make sense to put a Lego build banner in the build.

Some form of a banner must be included in the photo. You can have a version of the photo without a banner if you'd like, but everyone in the KC feels that in order to distinguish LoR MOCs as-such, a banner should be included in some form or another. It doesn't have to be overly large or prominent. Even a text-based one in the corner that says "Lands of Roawia - Garheim" is probably fine, though a small version of the LoR crest would be preferable from a "branding" standpoint. Something like this, for example:

Ak, how would you feel about getting some custom engraved bricks for builds?

lilcurt, we did have some of those back when we were "Lands of Classic Castle". I have not gotten around to ordering new ones with the updated "Lands of Roawia" on them yet. Maybe we can do a combined t-shirt / engraved brick order if we get enough participants lined up

Does the secondary character have to be from the same faction as the primary?

lilcurt Some of the guys at BrickFair VA last year were kind enough to make updated LOR fraction bricks for all the collab participants, because like Jordan said most of us had LCC ones that have now become outdated. If you look at some of my builds, and some of Schmidt's too, you can see the bricks I'm talking about. Like here (Shameless, ok sort of shameful, self promotion) -

Does the secondary character have to be from the same faction as the primary? Yes, thank you. I forgot to mention that part, though that was the consensus in the previous member poll. Added to first post.
